.
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored: 24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling or making changes to an existing appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of your session cost or that amount will be deducted from your gift certificate. This amount will be charged to the credit card number that is required at booking. Any cancellation within two hours of a scheduled appointment will be considered a No-show since it is virtually impossible to fill an appointment that is cancelled that close to its start time.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for 100% of their missed appointment. If you need to cancel or make changes to an appointment we ask that you call our studio, if we don't answer leave us a message. Cancelling via email or text message is prohibited.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Depending on how tight our schedule is, we may be able to accommodate your entire session even if you are late, but when this is feasible we will charge you $1 for each minute we go beyond your originally scheduled appointment. Of course you may or may not find this acceptable. Out of respect and consideration to us and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
We can work on children 8 years of age through 14 if a parent is in the treatment room with us. Children aged 15-17 do not need a parent present in the treatment room, but we will need the parent's signed consent to treat the child.
We love children, however our studio is one place where clients can come to escape the everyday world. Please make babysitting arrangements in advance of your appointment so that you can enjoy your massage without any worries. Due to insurance and safety considerations, children will not be permitted in the studio without an appointment.
